RSPCA Cupcake Day….bake a cupcake for the animals sake!

June 12th, 2009

dog and cupcake too cute cupcake Day 09 logodog and cupcake too cute2

It might seem like you have a while before you have to start thinking about Cupcake Day, but as scary as it is August 17 will be upon us before we know it! So get organised and start thinking about how your going to create the best cupcake!

The idea is; bake up a storm, sell them to friends, family and workmates and help the RSPCA furry friends. It’s on a Monday so you have the weekend to stir, mix and ice up yourself into a frenzy!

You can also order from the RSPCA, so spread the word - we want the whole of Adelaide to be feasting on cupcakes and helping the thousands of animals the RSPCA cares for every year; a charitable sugar fix, brilliant!

This is $ for RSPCA - not the animals. RSPCA are animal control, not animal care. It is a crime to love animals and teach them tricks and show them off - RSPCA ban on circus animals is wrong

    ‘Tractor’,
I am unsure what you mean by a few of your statements. Firstly ‘this is $ for the RSPCA, not the animals.’
We are a not for profit organisation that helps prevent and punish animal crueltty and treat and rehome animals whose owners have let them down. This is where our money goes.

Your second comment; ‘RSPCA are animal control’. Again i am not sure what this means, if you could elaborate I may be able to at least understand this comment.

Lastly you state that training an animal to do tricks is a crime, but then you state the RSPCA should not ban circuses. IS this not a contradiction? Also the RSPCA does not have the power to ban circuses; only the Council where the circus is performing have the power to disapprove the circuses application to perform on their land. T=Having said that, the RSPCA is against the use of exotic animals in circues and is glad that there are only a few animals in Australia who are still performing.

If you would like any further information please email me

RSPCA kill 30,000 dogs a year - this is anial control, not animal care. But worse, RSPCA are killing family pets - members of people’s families. I have read a number of stories about distressed owners losingtheir dogs only to findout a few days later that RSPCA had killed them.
